Fatigue, reduced motivation, low mood, decreased sexual interest and reduced exercise capacity can have many explanations. Possible contributors include: • insufficient or poor-quality sleep • stress or depression • thyroid problems • anaemia • diabetes or other chronic illness • medication effects • alcohol or substance use • nutritional issues • hormonal conditions A social-media checklist cannot confirm testosterone deficiency. Diagnosis requires a proper clinical evaluation and, when appropriate, correctly timed laboratory testing interpreted alongside symptoms. Using testosterone without a genuine medical indication may cause harm and can affect fertility. Do not treat a number—or an advertisement. Treat the person after proper evaluation. Have online advertisements made men more informed about hormonal health—or more anxious about normal changes? Hormone treatment should only be started under appropriate medical supervision.
